Neither snow nor rain nor heat* shall stop the Lewiston Heartland Days Grand Parade.

*This partial quote comes from Book 8, Paragraph 98, of The Persian Wars by Herodotus. This quote is often mistaken to be the motto of the US Postal Service.

We invite you to be part of our festivities through your participation in our Grand Parade and events throughout the weekend. Each year more parade entries are received, and the residents of Lewiston enjoy the parade, even when it rains!

 

The parade will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 6:00 PM, with line-up beginning at 4:00 PM. Please fill out and return the information requested below as soon as possible. Parade details and your parade position will be sent to you ten (10) days prior to the parade. We will make every effort to honor any order change requests prior to the final lineup communication.

There is an advertising fee for participation in the parade for selected units. Participation in the Heartland Days Grand parade is a great advertising opportunity for your business because the event draws a crowd of approximately 1000. Money raised will be used to support the entertainment units in the Grand Parade and the Lewiston Heartland Days Festival. If you’re not sure if your parade unit will need to pay a fee, please send us a message and ask.

  • Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Sponsors

  • Heartland Days Royalty

  • Visiting Royalty from other towns

  • Church, Community, School, or non-profit groups from the Lewiston-Altura area

Printable/Fillable Parade Form:

  • Silver Sponsors ($25)

  • Any individual or business not on the official sponsor list

  • Politicians ($100)

Lewiston Heartland Days Grand Parade

Please provide the necessary information below about your parade unit. Once completed, your entry will be sent off the Heartland Days Parade Coordinator for 2025, who will then be in touch regarding your submission.

You must fill out this application to be considered for the parade. All applications are subject to approval by the Parade Committee Chair. All participants must provide their own transportation in the parade. Dressing rooms are not provided for any units. All animal units must provide your own pooper scooper. Please plan accordingly.
